Her academic journey began early and ambitiously. By the age of 17, Attorney Patel had already graduated high school with an associate degree. Shortly thereafter, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Florida. At just 19 years old, she began her studies at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) in Auburn, Alabama, an achievement that reflects both her intellectual ability and extraordinary work ethic.
While excelling in medicine, Attorney Patel gained firsthand exposure to the complex legal challenges that affect individuals and families—challenges that even highly trained medical professionals are not equipped to navigate. Through careful reflection, she recognized that her strengths and passion lay not in practicing medicine, but in advocating for people through the law. She withdrew from medical school and fully enrolled into law school. She made the deliberate and courageous decision to pivot her career path and pursue what she knew would allow her to make the greatest impact.
Attorney Patel went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law (on a full academic scholarship) in Naples, Florida, where she refined her legal skills and developed a strong foundation in family law.

Attorney Patel immigrated from Ukraine to Florida at a young age and grew up in a blended family, experiences that shaped her resilience, adaptability, and deep understanding of family dynamics. Learning English through perseverance and countless hours of reading, she quickly developed a strong sense of independence and determination. Navigating cultural transitions and complex family relationships firsthand gave her a unique perspective on the emotional and practical challenges families face during times of change.
